Crazy Stupid Love movie review

"At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dream-good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his "perfect" life quickly unravels. Worse, in today's single world, Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling)." - Event Cinemas

I saw C.S.L on Friday night, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It has a great cast, who all have their own presence on screen. I think that if there were a different cast, the film would not have been as funny, or as good as balancing the humour and sadness that surrounds the character Cal, who is in the middle of a separation with his wife.

I loved the character of Robbie Weaver, played by Jonah BoBo. He was absolutely hilarious- the funniest person in the film in my opinion!. Robbies crush on his older babysitter made for good humour in the movie, and his constant expressions of Love were so so funny!

Crazy Stupid Love has only just opened in Australia, and I recommend it 100%!

Loving Lunges!

Summer is on it's way, and wether you are planning to hit up the beach, or go to one of many summer festivals, odds are you want to be in your best shape and show off your summer bod!

For summer legs we are  loving lunges! This exercise can help improve muscle tone in the legs, are relatively easy to do and can give amazing results if done consistently- Celebrities such as The Kardashians, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston regularly incorporate lunges into their workout routines!

Set:
Start by doing 5-10 lunges- repeat, per leg, 3 times

Walking Lunges:
For an alternate move, try doing walking lunges in a area, back and forth!

For an extra difficulty:
Try holding onto weights as you lunge

Enjoy!

See the Lion King in 3D and support Children's Hospital Foundations Australia

If you were a product of the 90's, then you have to have watched the Lion King!
Re-live funny moments of your childhood by seeing the Lion King in 3D in cinemas Australia wide. By doing so, you will also be supporting ill children, as all proceeds go to the Children's Hospital Foundations Australia.

I went to the cinemas last night and I was laughing out loud at this part of the movie, I LOVE Pumba!

Bullying.No way!

With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing bullying at some point in their schooling experience, something needs to be done about it. Bullying can lead to severe physical and psychological trauma- One bullying experience could affect a person for life.
Here at The Summer Scene, we support the "Bullying No way!" campaign. It is doing wonders for the Australian community, and giving a voice to those who are experiencing bullying. Please visit their site, and support their campaign. and remember that bullying needs to be stopped.

Healthy AND guilt free food

Eating healthy doesn't mean you have to sacrifice taste, as long as you keep up a variety! For in-between meals, try snacking on some nuts, or fruit. I'm loving the abundance of fruit lately at the shops, my favourite go to snack would have to be a fruit salad- as if you could say no to this!
Another healthy snack I am always having is a caesar salad- I buy the easy to make packs from Coles, and they are always so fresh and delicious! If you want to make it guilt free- just leave out the cheese and only use half of the dressing given.
