RED was the colour of choice, it seems, at the EMMY AWARDS 2011. Red has been a popular colour re-emerging this year, with it adding a feminine, alluring touch to any outfit. Some notable mentions from the EMMY awards are Kate Winslet, Nina Dobrev, and Sofia Vergara.
My absolute favourite though would have to have been the Marchesa dress worn by Glee star
Lea Michele. Her red gown was a stunner on the red carpet, and the exposed back of the dress was sophisticated and perfectly executed.
Red can be easily incorporated into any look, and it can be as simple as wearing a red lip when you go out next! Accessories are a perfect way to incorporate red without going all out, so next time you are at the shops look out for red accessories such as clutches, earings or best of all, shoes!
